Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Why This Role Exists This role exists due to ongoing production demand and the need for a machinist capable of independently setting up and optimizing Swiss machining operations. This position plays an important role in supporting precision manufacturing while ensuring machines are running efficiently and producing quality parts. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys setup work, problem-solving, and maximizing machine performance rather than simply loading parts and pressing cycle start. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC Star Swiss lathes Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications Configure tooling, offsets, and machine setups to achieve optimal performance Perform first-piece and in-process inspections Change tooling and offsets as needed Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality Perform G-code edits and machine troubleshooting when required Complete preventative maintenance activities Work independently while collaborating with production and quality teams Machines, Controls & Equipment You'll work with equipment such as:

Machines:

CNC Star Swiss Lathes Swiss-style turning equipment Single turret lathe equipment

Programming:

G-Code editing

Inspection Tools:

Calipers Micrometers Precision measuring tools Materials You'll Work With Materials may include: Precision machined components Production manufacturing materials Metal components and assemblies

What We're Looking ForRequired:
