CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Woburn, MA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the setup, operation, and programming of various CNC machines. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity within a fast-evolving and growing company. Please note that while the pay rate for this role is flexible based on experience, it starts at $35/hr. High SchoolResponsibilities Technical Setup:

Interpret blueprints, job orders, and GD&T specifications to determine operational sequences. Select and secure tooling (chucks, collets, etc.) and calculate optimal feed rates, spindle speeds, and cut depths.

Machine Operation:

Execute complex milling operations, including tool changes and height/compensation adjustments to ensure continuous high-quality output.

Quality Control:

Perform in-process inspections to verify that all workpieces meet exact specifications. Utilize precision measurement tools for testing, evaluation, and calibration.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Diagnose malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance teams for necessary repairs.

Versatility:

Beyond milling, set up and operate auxiliary equipment such as welding or flame-cutting tools as required by the production schedule.

Compliance:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality management systems (QMS), and internal housekeeping (5S) standards.
