- Multi-Axis Lathe This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, values consistency, and wants to make a measurable impact on production performance. Schedule 4 x 10-hour shifts (First Shift) Monday-Thursday schedule (Fridays off) Overtime available based on production needs Consistent schedule designed to support work-life balance with a 3-day weekend. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls and G-Code Create and edit programs for production and prototype parts Support additional equipment including Haas VMCs and KOMO routers Utilize CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or similar) Capture manufacturing data in an ERP system Machine precision plastic components to tight tolerances Perform detailed inspections using precision measuring tools Operate secondary/manual equipment as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must possess the following skills demonstrated through previous work experience. 5+ years CNC machining experience Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and G-Code programming Experience with CNC lathes (SMEC preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Trade school or equivalent experience required What Sets You Apart Self-driven and dependable Takes initiative and solves problems Maintains consistent performance and attendance Focused on efficiency and continuous improvement Success in This Role Requires Reliable attendance Consistent production output Accountability and ownership of work Time Off & Holidays Paid Time Off 10 Paid Holidays Friday holidays observed as floating holidays Benefits Health Insurance (UnitedHealthcare): Slideways pays first half of deductible UHC Dental and Vision Optional Insurance (Colonial): Life, Short or Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid) Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Account Retirement 401(k): Eligible after 6 months Closing Join a company where your work drives results.
