$20-28hrs Experience Required Bilingual English-Spanish We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machinist Assistant to join our manufacturing team. Role includes supporting the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and manual machining equipment to produce precision metal components. Duties Set up and operate manual machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Utilize milling machines and other machining tools to fabricate components. Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to tolerances. Program CAM software for efficient machining processes. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve manufacturing processes. Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working condition. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety procedures Support machine setup and changeovers efficiently Requirements Proven experience as a machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC machining and programming. Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools, including milling machines. Familiarity with Mazatrol, Fanuc controls, and CAM programming is a plus. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
