Drive Shaft Fabrication Location:

Harford County, Maryland My client is looking for a Machinist to build drive shafts as part of their production team. This role works hands-on with raw stock and machined components to produce finished shafts to spec, with close coordination across the shop floor. Responsibilities Operate lathes, mills, and related machine shop equipment to fabricate drive shaft components Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to machine parts to tolerance Balance and assemble finished drive shafts Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality Communicate with team members and supervisors on job status, material needs, and any issues that come up Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualifications Prior machine shop experience Ability to read blueprints and work from specs Strong communication skills, both with the team and with supervisors Attention to detail and comfort working to tight tolerances Drive shaft or driveline experience a plus, not required My client is offering a competitive hourly rate, benefits, and a long-standing, family-owned work environment.
