We have an immediate opening for an experienced ToolMaker/Machine Builder Specialist with an automation company. Day Shift-Start Time, 6am Toolmaker / Fixture Builder Builds, assembles, fits, and modifies tooling, fixtures, gauges, and automated manufacturing equipment used in automotive and industrial production. Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD layouts to fabricate and precision-fit components.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble weld fixtures, tooling, gauges, and automation equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly layouts. Fit, align, drill, tap, grind, and modify components to specification. Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances. Install components such as clamps, pins, locators, cylinders, and brackets. Troubleshoot and make adjustments during machine build, tryout, and installation. Work with machinists, welders, electricians, and controls personnel during equipment build and launch.

Qualifications:

Toolmaking, machine building, fixture building, or related experience; strong blueprint-reading and mechanical assembly skills. Automotive automation or powertrain tooling experience is preferred.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
