A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Lathe Operator is responsible for set up, perform offsets, and operate CNC lathes according to the established standard work for production purposes.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Select programs, collets, bushings and tooling for setup on CNC Lathe. Perform setups as needed on CNC Lathe. Operate CNC Lathe for production. Complete required router information. Perform first piece first article and in-process inspection of parts. Manufacture parts to manufacturing prints or customer prints. Maintain tooling on CNC lathe. Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance on machine. Perform housekeeping per 6S schedule. Performs set up of 3 & 4 Axis CNC machines. Operates multiple machines simultaneously. Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance. Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with minimal supervision. Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community. Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS). Completes all required training.EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred) Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred) 2+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
