•4:00pm) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented CNC Machinist with at least 2 years of vertical CNC milling experience to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machining centers to produce high-precision components. Key Responsibilities Setup & Operation:

Set up, adjust, and operate 3-axis CNC Haas milling machines to perform precision machining operations.

Blueprint Reading & Inspection:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges).

Tooling & Workholding:

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, inserts, and workholding setups for each job.

Editing & Troubleshooting:

Perform G-code/M-code edits at the control panel, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues to optimize cycle times.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned machinery, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all safety guidelines.

Quality & Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate with team lead and engineering to identify process improvements, reduce scrap, and maintain standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on CNC milling setup and operating experience in a precision job shop or production environment.

Blueprint & GD&T Skills:

Proficient in reading technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and manufacturing documentation.

Measurement Tools:

Strong experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators).

Control Knowledge:

Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazatrol controls required.

Problem Solving:

Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to troubleshoot setups independently.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent; vocational or technical training in precision machining is a plus.
