Position Overview:
Responsible for performing a variety of skilled trades duties for the entire facility.Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to follow prints and assembly instructions.
- Ability to use Bridgeport/lathe/drill press.
- Fabricate repair parts using Van Mark equipment.
- Building assembly fixtures.
- Assist with Machine Repair.
- Ability to make recommendations for purchasing supplies, equipment, and materials for planned projects.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education / Certification o High School diploma or equivalent o Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge & Experience o Experience in machining fixtures. o Strong organizational skills. o Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools. o Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and appropriate safety precautions.
- Personal Attributes o Ability & willingness to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions. o Ability to conform to Company policies and procedures. o Ability to work independently after receiving instructions. o Ability to work effectively in a participative/team-oriented environment.
- Other Skills / Abilities o Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally.
