Job Description

CNC Machinist Openings in Holland - Mills & Lathes (Openings are also in Muskegon, Kentwood, and Middleville.)
Pay:
$26.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience
Shifts:
Days, Nights, and Weekend shifts are available

80-100% Company-paid health insurance for employees and their dependents Position Summary We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes used to produce complex, close-tolerance components. Candidates may specialize in either milling or turning; experience with both is preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity for machinists who take pride in quality work, enjoy solving technical problems, and want to grow their skills in a stable precision-manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, or both Produce parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards Install tooling, fixtures, and workholding components Make offsets, tool changes, and cutting-parameter adjustments Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality concerns Complete production and inspection documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support continuous-improvement efforts Qualifications 3-5 years of previous CNC milling, turning, or related machining experience CNC setup experience is strongly preferred Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining practices Ability to read blueprints and inspect close-tolerance parts Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail High school diploma, GED, trade-school training, or equivalent experience Experience with 5-axis machining, CAM programming, G-code, Fanuc controls are a plus!
