CNC Machinist - 1st & 2nd Shift

Overview:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinists to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and, when applicable, program CNC equipment to produce precision components that meet detailed specifications and quality standards. Available Shifts:

1st Shift

Monday-Friday

6:00am - 4:30pm

2nd Shift

Monday-Thursday

4:30pm - 2:30am

MUST train on 1st

Pay:

Starting at $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, milling machines, and other CNC equipment.

Develop and modify CNC programs (preferred experience).

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to manufacture precision components.

Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.

Perform machine adjustments and routine preventative maintenance.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.

Conduct quality inspections throughout the machining process.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Safely operate hand tools and power tools as required.

Qualifications:

4+ years of CNC machining experience required

CNC setup experience required.

CNC programming experience preferred.

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.

Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs.

Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience:

Aerospace manufacturing experience.

CNC programming.

Advanced setup and process optimization.
