Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities Clock in & out of appropriate job operations Read, interpret, and produce machined dimensions from information on engineering drawings Adhere to job plans per job travelers Set up and operate CNC and Manual OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision Grinding of splined shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerances within .0001" Basic Maintenance of CNC Grinders Use precision measurement equipment to ensure first piece and production quality Maintain proper documentation of SPC data Consistently produce quality parts Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 7 years of experience Blueprint reading skills Shop math skills Proficiency in the use of a wide variety of precision measuring tools Positive attitude Ability to communicate and work with others in a team environment
