In this role, you will be proficient in the operation of manual engine lathes, boring mills and welding (TIG & MIG) on various materials (mainly steel and stainless, but we do work on titanium, hastelloy, aluminum, bronze and copper also) . This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools and technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities We see a wide variety of equipment even though the mainstay of our business are motors (AC/DC) and pumps(not hydraulic), we also work on blower assemblies and gearboxes and service a wide variety of customers in the region. You will also dynamically balance all rotating equipment that comes through the Machine Shop. Company overview A third generation Michigan-based pump and motor repair and sales shop that was established in 1976. We take great pride in our workmanship and our support of Detroit industry.
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
