Job Description

We are hiring a Tool and Die Machinist to support precision grinding, honing, lapping, and mechanical assembly for a specialized product similar to a machine tool spindle. This role is best suited for someone with deep machining experience who can move between hands-on production work and careful assembly while maintaining consistent quality over time. We offer long-term, steady employment for someone who values dependable work and takes pride in producing accurate, reliable results.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform ID/OD grinding, honing, and ID lapping work to precise specifications Assemble mechanical components and finished products with close attention to fit, function, and quality Apply broad machining knowledge to support tool-building and related production work Inspect completed work and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process Support day-to-day production needs while maintaining steady, reliable output Required Skills & Abilities 20+ years of machining experience in precision manufacturing environments Demonstrated tool-building experience Ability to perform ID/OD grinding and lapping work with a high level of consistency Strong mechanical aptitude for assembly and hands-on problem-solving Dependable approach to work, with follow-through on quality and production expectations
