Entry-level candidates welcome! About the Role We are looking for a Machinist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is just getting started in machining or an experienced machinist looking for a close-knit environment where their skills are valued. Experience levels can range from entry-level to 10+ years. The most important skill we are looking for is experience with mold assembly. Candidates with additional experience in CNC programming, benching and spotting, or surface grinding will be a great fit, but these skills are not required. You'll work closely with the team to build, assemble, fit, and finish molds while learning and developing your machining skills. What You'll Do Assemble and fit molds and mold components Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings Measure parts and components using precision measuring tools Perform hands-on fitting, adjustment, and finishing of mold components Assist with machining and fabrication projects as needed Perform benching and spotting of molds when applicable Operate and assist with various manual and CNC machining equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work closely with experienced team members to troubleshoot and complete projects Follow quality and safety standards throughout the machining process
What We're Looking For Required:
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work with your hands and use basic shop tools Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings, or willingness to learn Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Mold assembly experience is highly preferred Nice to
Have:
CNC programming experience Benching and spotting experience Surface grinding experience Experience with mold making, tool & die, or precision machining Experience using precision measuring equipment Why Join Us?
