Description Hydromat rotary transfer machinist: EPIC, Legacy 45-12, Legacy 45-16, EPIC FANUC. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hydromat Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Hydromat multi-spindle rotary transfer machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Operate EPIC, Legacy 45-12, Legacy 45-16, EPIC FANUC. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to ensure accurate manufacturing processes Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions and tolerances Maintain proper tooling and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols diligently while working with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery involved in the process Qualifications Proven experience on EPIC, Legacy 45-12, Legacy 45-16, EPIC FANUC. Strong knowledge of CNC operation, CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks preferred), and blueprint reading skills Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding and electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs accurately Basic math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances; attention to detail is essential Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Valid certifications or training in welding or forklift operation are advantageous but not mandatory Ability to train inexperienced operators utilizing an on the job training method Physical Demands Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, oil, machinery, etc. Further Details Full time position : 50-55 hours a week, OT after 40 hours.
