Posted on August 31, 2026 Published By Jennifer Andrews CNC turning machinist position available in the Wixom, Michigan area working at our client location who is full-service machine shop offering cnc turning, milling and grinding services.

This is a potential contract to hire position with a pay rate of $30.00 an hour DOE. First shift opportunity with a schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. M-F. Potential OT on the weekends but not guaranteed, based on needs. Client company benefits available once hired in. Duties for the CNC turning machinist:

Operating Mazak machines
Turning
Program, editing at the machine, conversational
Quality inspection
Reading blueprints
Quality checks
Set-up
Will work on specialized parts, prototype and small run production Apply now!

CNC turning machinist requirements:

Mazak experience, programming experience
Machining knowledge
3-5 years' required
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
