EDM Machinist Lowell Inc, has an opening for a full time, night shift, Machinist to set up and operate EDM machines. The selected candidate will have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and be team oriented. Night Schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 3:30am

EDM Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM Machines.
• Edit programs to maintain part quality and process efficiency.
• Manufacture conforming product through the use and interpretation of part drawings, operation instructions, manufacturing specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Perform in-process inspection using inspection equipment and tools to verify dimensional and surface conformity. Uses data to adjust and maintain manufacturing process as needed.
• Maintain tooling, equipment, and work area to ensure an organized, safe, and clean environment.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the machines.
• Performs part finishing operations using a variety of abrasives, deburring tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members, quality, and engineering departments.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.

EDM Experience:

• Minimum 2 years CNC Machinist experience. Preferred experience on EDM
• Possesses advanced mechanical drawing reading skills and knowledge of GD&T.
• Understands metrology principles and how to perform inspection on complex parts.
• Strong computer skills in order to access, store, create, and log data.
