Job Description

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM No weekends We are seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our client's growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for independently setting up CNC machines, running new and repeat jobs, troubleshooting and editing programs, and ensuring quality and production standards are met. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines, load programs, and complete first-run parts Read, interpret, and edit FANUC programming code Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Make tool wear offsets and change inserts to maintain tolerances Inspect finished parts using standard quality inspection tools and gages Load and unload materials and parts Monitor production and meet quality and output goals Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times Communicate machine issues, repairs, and production concerns to supervisors and maintenance Maintain accurate production records and follow work instructions Perform housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and daily equipment inspections Qualifications High school diploma or GED 4+ years of related machining experience and/or training Strong CNC machine setup and operating experience Ability to read part prints, drawings, and machining work orders Experience with standard inspection tools and gages Understanding of basic math, including fractions, ratios, geometry, and trigonometry Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable and able to meet production goals Willingness to obtain required hand tools Flexibility to work overtime as needed What's Offered Set weekday schedule - no weekends Advancement opportunities Air-conditioned shop floor Medical insurance with a $500 annual deductible, 100% employer paid Dental and vision insurance Generous PTO beginning on day one Paid holidays beginning on day one Annual bonuses 401(k) with 4% company match Quarterly team luncheons and holiday events Small, close-knit team environment IND2
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
