$26.00 - $36.00 per hour

Shift Training:
Four 10-hour shifts,
Monday-Thursday After Training:

You'll set up, measure, and deliver parts that hit spec every time. If you take pride in precision, this is your zone. Education Requirements One year of trade school in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred. OR a minimum of three years of experience in a machine shop environment. Ability to read blueprints, machining prints, and technical work instructions. Understanding of machining symbols, tolerances, tooling, and material properties. Experience Requirements Previous experience operating and setting up CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual lathes, manual mills, grinders, or similar machining equipment. Strong knowledge of machining tolerances, tooling selection, machine setup, and production processes. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection tools. Ability to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, hardness, and material requirements. Experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to cross-train across multiple machine shop disciplines. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands for operating machinery, measuring equipment, and material handling. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as required. Occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs. Strong visual abilities, including depth perception, close vision, and attention to detail for precision inspections. Ability to work overtime when needed. Job Duties Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment according to work instructions and blueprints. Manufacture precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings, machining prints, and production documentation. Select tooling, fixtures, and work-holding methods to ensure efficient production. Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Conduct preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machining equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives. Cross-train in CNC machining, manual machining, surface grinding, and cylindrical grinding operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
