Description:

Build the equipment behind aerospace and defense innovation. Are you a CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work? Want to work on projects that support some of the most recognized names in aerospace and government manufacturing, including NASA, Boeing, and other defense-related programs ? Join a team where your machining skills directly contribute to products used in critical aerospace tooling and work stand assemblies. This is more than just operating a machine. You'll set up, program, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC equipment while producing high-quality components that support cutting-edge aerospace and government projects. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC mills and machining equipment Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs Perform machine setups, prove-outs, and first-piece inspections Use precision measuring tools to verify quality and dimensions Adjust offsets, monitor tooling wear, and make program corrections Prepare tooling, fixtures, gauges, and materials for production runs Reduce scrap and improve efficiency through process improvements Perform deburring, cleaning, and secondary operations as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Support continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, productivity, and safety What We're Looking For ✅ CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment ✅ Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings ✅ Experience with CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting ✅ Familiarity with precision measuring equipment ✅ Ability to edit and adjust CNC programs ✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ✅ Tool & Die, aerospace machining, or precision manufacturing experience is a plus Why You'll Like It Here Work on projects supporting NASA, Boeing, defense, and aerospace industries Family-owned company with a strong reputation and long-term stability Opportunity to make a real impact on high-visibility, precision-built products Hands-on environment where your ideas for process improvements are valued Variety of work instead of making the same part every day Team-oriented culture focused on craftsmanship, quality, and continuous improvement Work Environment This position is located in a manufacturing shop environment and involves working around CNC mills, machining centers, and precision measuring equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of O Fallon, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
