A Machinist builds and repairs precisely detailed and sized metal parts used in a variety of tools and appliances. Builds parts following a blueprint or creates original designs.
Associates will utilize milling and seat cutting machines. The associate will be using tools such as cutters and various measuring devices. They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts to match the specs required for specific jobs. Block Machining will perform responsibilities including but not limited to milling, boring, and aligning the honing machine. The Associate will use tools such as a honing bar and a calibration rod. They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts in conjunction with the specs and accuracy required for specific jobs. This position requires an individual with strong hand dexterity and math skills.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 6:15am-4:45pm Overtime available Qualifications The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as gauges, impact, wrenches, and drills.
