Job Description

CNC Machinist Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated entry-level CNC Machinist to join our tooling department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed CNC machining training and is ready to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work alongside experienced machinists to set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment while producing precision parts to specification. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision Load raw material, tooling, and fixtures according to job requirements Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and tolerances Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized Follow all safety protocols and quality standards Accurately document production data and report any issues to the supervisor Assist with deburring, finishing, and other secondary operations as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED Completion of a CNC machining program, technical certificate, or equivalent training Basic understanding of G-code and CNC operation Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Preferred Familiarity with common CNC controls (Fanuc preferred) Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience with manual machining a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise, machinery, and coolant Ability to work additional hours when necessary Benefits Competitive Pay Benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan.
