Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn in machining and be proficient in operating various machine tools to produce precision parts. This job is to fabricate transmission components for the automotive industry in an
IATF 16949
certified facility. This is a 2nd shift position at a facility working a 4x10 shift model, Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities- Operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions of machined components.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
