Responsibilities:

Able to setup and operate variety of manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, vertical turret lathes, horizontal boring machines, grinders, saws, and drill presses. Lathe operations to include cutting tapers, using steady rests, cutting threads etc. Milling operations to include using dividing heads, rotary tables, angle plates and facing heads. Must be able to hold tight tolerances as required per print Must be able to lift 50lbs

Tools:

Must supply own tools such as micrometers (0-6), calipers, scales, layout tools, squares, gauges, indicators, and hand tools such as wrenches, punches and hammers. Company will provide supply large measuring tools over 6", tool bits such as cutters and drills.

Drawings:

Must be able to read and understand shop drawings Must be able to make calculations from drawings for machine setups like feeds and speeds.

Hours and Pay:

Standard hours are 7AM to 3:30PM Pay will be determined on experience Expected hours: 40.0 per week
