We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist / Woodworker with extensive Mastercam experience to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Machinist / Woodworker to operate and maintain CNC milling machines used in woodworking applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both CNC machining and woodworking, with hands-on experience in Mastercam software to create and optimize toolpaths. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, producing high-quality custom wood products.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision machining tasks on wood and composite materials. Use Mastercam to program, modify, and optimize toolpaths for CNC machines. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Measure and inspect finished products for compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and tooling to ensure production efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with all safety guidelines. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop and improve production processes. Ensure all materials are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage or defects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC milling machinist, woodworker, or similar role. Proficiency in Mastercam software for CNC programming and toolpath generation. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience working with woodworking materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, and composites. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward process improvement. Strong communication and organizational skills.
