Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Shop Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role includes operating CNC machines (training provided), assisting with custom fabrication and assembly work, maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, packaging products for shipment, and loading/unloading trucks with materials or finished goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is eager to grow within the manufacturing and fabrication industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines (training provided) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Assist with custom fabrication, part assemblies, and prep work Package and prepare products for shipping Load and unload trucks with materials and finished goods using proper equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (both in the shop and yard) Assist team members with various shop tasks as needed Follow work orders and instructions accurately Handle tools and materials safely and responsibly
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interest in hands-on work and mechanical processes Willingness to learn CNC operations and fabrication techniques Prior experience in a machine shop, warehouse, or similar environment is a plus Forklift experience or certification is a bonus (can be trained if needed) Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow directions Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
