Job Description
Setup and operate CNC machinery (setting datum's, indicating vises and fixtures, loading and troubleshooting programs) Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documentation Log data using computer and metrics Use of measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc…) Run test cycles to verify the effectiveness of the current setup Verify the need to optimize machine cycle time Inspect and measure finished products to yield sufficient quality and reduce scrap Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
