Job Description
Responsibilities Quickly identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues on various production machinery, including CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to accurately diagnose problems Operate and calibrate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and CAM programming tools to support fabrication processes Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and dial indicators to ensure dimensional accuracy of machined parts Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities for continuous improvement Collaborate with team members on materials handling, tooling setup, assembly line adjustments, and safety compliance
