Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support and mentorship to 2nd-shift CNC operators in the Lathe/Mill-Turn area or Swiss area. Perform CNC setups, operate equipment, and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues. Serve as the technical go-to resource for operators, assisting with setup verification, tooling selection, and process adjustments. Help operators develop their machining, setup, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Monitor quality and production to ensure components meet customer specifications, tight tolerances, and delivery requirements. Operate and support advanced Mill-Turn equipment across a variety of metals, high-performance alloys, and plastics. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, repeatability, and workflow. Communicate technical, quality, and equipment issues while promoting a safe, collaborative, and accountable 2nd-shift environment. They also have the resources to implement dedicated work cells that cost effectively manage processes with demonstrated flexibility and efficiency, and can aid in design to improve manufacturability. $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
