Job Description

Responsibilities of the Machinist II Operate and set up various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and NC machines, to produce precision parts Interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes and tolerances while learning GD&T symbols Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling systems to produce components based on technical drawings and job requirements Inspect parts for tolerance and quality requirements Help troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tooling, or parts Program, set up, and operate NC machines Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications of the Machinist II High school diploma required, associate degree in management and/or technical certificate with 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred Familiar with manufacturing processes Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to multitask, remain organized, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to interpret specifications, schematics, job orders, and employee policies Ability to inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, high gauges, gage pins, etc.) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Apply today for this Machinist II opportunity!
