You'll join the 2nd shift team at an advanced technology manufacturer's facility in Portsmouth, NH. Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to machine various materials Perform prototype work from detailed specifications Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed Follow drawings and route sheets Compute accurate mathematical dimensions and use precision measuring instruments Follow all safety procedures Maintain a 5S work station in a team environment Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications of the CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift 5+ years of machine shop experience Must have the ability to use various machinist measuring tools Good problem-solving and communication skills Must at a minimum have basic computer skills Programming knowledge is a plus Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to lift 50 lbs.
