Machinist Position in Phillipsburg, NJ In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the necessary operations to create tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs, and then executing those operations on manual and CNC machine tools like lathes, milling, and grinding machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Create tooling items with precision using CNC and manual machines. Maintain Production Tooling. Construct new cutting and forming tools. Assemble components for multi-slide and Four Slide production systems.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Positive attitude and teamwork skills. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Proficiency in tool design, shop mathematics, blueprint reading, machining, and assembly procedures. Experience with tooling in the metal stamping and forming industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, lifting, and walking. Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC

3-8 years of recent experience as a Toolmaker. GED or High School Diploma required. Completion of an apprenticeship program or trade school with a tool making apprenticeship is a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
