Fits and assembles machine components, according to assembly blueprints, using hand and power tools. When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments. What You'll Do:

Fits and aligns bearings and shafts, drive transmissions, belts and pulleys, chains and sprockets, and drive gearing including housings. Rebuilds or repairs customer equipment which has been returned for rework as a result of breakdown. Travels to customer location, when necessary, to repair equipment or assist in its assembly. Assembles machine, sets up and operates it, verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications. Assists in the training of new personnel when necessary. What You'll Bring:

Minimum 2 years of experience in machine construction Minimum 2 Vocational training High school diploma/GED

What Sets You Apart:

Blueprint reading, shop mathematics, machine construction and design, and the use of shop measuring instruments. Welding experience a plus. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Background working on motorcycles or automobiles Strong mechanical aptitude experience
