About the Role As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing operations, ensuring the creation of high-quality components through expert machine operation and technical oversight. You will leverage your technical proficiency to optimize production workflows and maintain the integrity of complex assemblies, directly contributing to the excellence of our output. Responsibilities Configure and operate advanced CNC machinery to produce intricate components and subassemblies by interpreting detailed blueprints and technical specifications. Execute program uploads and modifications, manage setup sheets, and perform precise tooling adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance. Proactively troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide actionable data to engineering teams to enhance process efficiency. Maintain rigorous documentation and production logs to support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance standards. Perform essential finishing tasks, including deburring and tool sharpening, to ensure all parts meet exact design tolerances. Collaborate with production leadership to streamline workflows and maintain high output standards with minimal supervision. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. 18+ months of hands-on experience in CNC machine operation and setup. Proficiency in CNC tooling, machine changeovers, and 2-4 axis CNC lathe operation. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for 8-hour shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and work instructions. Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving production bottlenecks. Experience working within a fast-paced, continuous production environment.
