We are currently looking for CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision instrument mouthpieces for in-house production. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to quality. The machinist works closely with team members to ensure all parts meet stringent standards. This is a 1st shift role (8:00AM

Responsibilities:
Set up CNC lathes and Milling machines, and other machine equipment to produce precision mouthpieces. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate mouthpieces accurately. Utilize CAM programming (Mastercam) for CNC machines when necessary. Employ precision measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products. Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes. Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory. Experience operating a Haas
UMC-500SS
(or similar high-speed 5-axis machining center) is required. Candidates should have experience with simultaneous 5-axis machining; experience with automated systems such as robotic loading systems and pallet pools is highly desirable. Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam) is a plus. Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometer. Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Job Knowledge
