PMeducation:

High SchoolResponsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading programs, tooling, fixtures, and materials.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications.

Review CNC programs and make appropriate adjustments to offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed.

Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely and efficiently.

Install and adjust cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and other machine accessories.

Verify first-piece and in-process dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.

Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy.

Monitor machine operation and identify unusual sounds, vibration, tool wear, or other potential problems.
