In this role, you will work from complex blueprints, perform custom setups, edit G-code at the controller, and maintain tight tolerances on precision components.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC mills (Class A level).
Control Systems:
Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Heidenhain controls.
Programming:
Solid understanding of G-code programming; experience with CAM software (Mastercam, GibbsCAM) is a major plus.
Blueprint Reading:
Background in reading blueprints and ing GD&T standards.
Tools:
Expert skill with hand-held measuring equipment and precision tools.

High SchoolResponsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines independently. Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T callouts, and technical specifications. Perform G-code and M-code edits at the machine control level; optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling paths. Select, assemble, and set cutting tools, work-holding fixtures, and attachments. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM). Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical/operational issues.
