Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Tool & die Precision measurement in machining Micrometer Milling machines Manual machining Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Looking for tool room machinists; Skilled in running manual lathes, bridgeports and bench grinders. Able to square up a block on a bridgeport. Able to read micrometer's and calipers. Basic detail work and machining in tool room setting. Do not have to be knowledgeable in building or repairing dies at this time but is a plus and preferential. Die/Mold maker; Skilled in building, troubleshooting, repairing, preventative maintenance and have good working knowledge of sheet metal type, draw, progressive, transfer, piercing, forming dies and high speed stamping dies with little supervision. Experience with compound progressive tools a must Troubleshoot and repair dies in the press and/or bench. Reports unusual conditions or problems to supervisor. Studies specifications and engineering blueprints Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities 5 to 7 years experience of tool and die work experience required.
