This is an on-site/ full-time/ direct-hire position. Salary $25-$35/hr based on experience Our client's CNC Machinists specialize in setting up and operating CNC or NC machines and machining centers. Set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Studies drawings and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpiece. Follows a job router to determine the sequence of operations and set-up requirements. Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials Calculates and programs controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow depth and angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve, edit, or input existing programs. Analyze and resolve any set-up non-conformance. Show a willingness to work through their attendance, and maintain an overall positive attitude. Adhere to the company's policies and procedures. Look for improvements regarding all aspects of Manufacturing.

Training and Experience:

Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. Knowledge of various measuring tools, like micrometers and bore gauges. Familiarity with milling machines and tooling. Strong ability to fabricate parts with precision. Proficient in basic math calculations

Specific Competencies:

The employee must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor. Exert 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or exert 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently, and/or exert up to ten pounds of force constantly to move objects.
