EverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively searching for potential candidates for Direct Hire positions with one of our top clients. These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, benefits, PTO, and growth potential. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components according to blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC mills and/or lathes, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.

CNC Machinist Pay Rate:
$25.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.
Shift:
1st and 2nd Responsibilities Set up CNC machines with the appropriate materials, tooling, and fixtures. Adjust machine speeds, feeds, and tooling as required to ensure efficient production. Utilize existing CNC programs and make machine-side edits when necessary. Create or modify programs at the machine as needed. Operate CNC machining equipment safely and efficiently to produce parts within specified tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Monitor machining operations and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality standards are met. Unload finished parts and move materials using overhead cranes, hoists, lifts, and other material handling equipment. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Collaborate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment. Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or CNC lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong understanding of machining processes and precision manufacturing. Proficiency in shop mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra, and trigonometry. Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to safely operate cranes, hoists, lifts, and other material handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Formal machining education or technical training. Experience editing CNC programs and troubleshooting machining processes. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices. Performance ExpectationsSuccess in this role will be measured by: Product Quality Productivity and Efficiency On-Time Delivery Performance Teamwork and Collaboration Safety Compliance Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, heat, and moving equipment. Manual dexterity required to operate machinery, measuring instruments, and hand tools. Safety Requirements Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear. Hearing protection may be required in designated production areas.
