Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to join a leading industrial equipment manufacturer located near Youngstown, Ohio. This permanent, full-time position in Alliance, OH, offers a competitive hourly rate between $27.50 and $38.50, along with a consistent 2nd shift schedule running Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. You will play a key role in our production operations by managing both CNC Lathes and Mills. Core Responsibilities Adjust and refine G-code and M-code programs to improve overall machining efficiency. Produce high-quality components by following detailed engineering blueprints and technical schematics. Ensure parts meet strict specifications by utilizing precision measurement instruments like micrometers and calipers. Contribute to a safer workplace by safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes to transport heavy materials. Perform regular equipment maintenance to help maintain high operational standards and machine safety. Qualifications At least 2 years of practical experience in the operation of CNC Lathes and Mills. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and utilize standard precision measurement tools. Experience with the safe operation of tow motors, forklifts, and overhead cranes. Clear communication skills to effectively document production logs and updates. A High School Diploma, GED, or a certificate from a technical CNC machining program. Familiarity with Centroid M400 controls, Siemens 840D, or conversational programming is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
