Job title:
CNC Haas Lathes Setup Machinist Location:
Avon, OH As the CNC Setup Machinist you would be responsible for the setup of CNC machining centers efficiently and effectively for multiple machines(Mills and/or Lathes). Duties/Responsibilities Efficient and timely setup of all CNC Mills and/or Lathes in the facility. Ensures proper tooling is loaded into tool holders. Load programs, make adjustments as needed to produce quality part (i.e. speeds, feeds, depth of cut, chamfers, etc.). Set fixtures, tooling and vises required to produce parts. Review work orders and prints. Ensure raw materials are available and correct for the part to be produced. Run first production piece prior to handing off to an operator. Ensure all setup parameters are documented and repeatable prior to hand off to operator Develops common tooling for all CNC milling equipment. Skills/Qualifications 3 years' experience setting up CNC machines on both Mills and Lathes Understands basic shop math, able to read prints, and edit programs using G&M codes. High School Diploma or GED. Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
Salary:
$23 to $40/hour based on experience ($23 is entry level and $40 is a Senior Machinist with programming experience)
Shift:
1 st shift working 6am-230pm Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.
