CNC Machinist

• Turning Shift: Second Shift (3:00 PM
• 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday)

Location:

Cuyahoga Falls Exact Machine Service is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Northeast Ohio. This position focuses on CNC turning operations, machine setup, production machining, and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong lathe experience, the ability to make tooling, insert, and offset adjustments, and a solid understanding of CNC machine operations. Programming experience is not required; however, the ability to read and understand G-code is preferred. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC turning centers to produce precision machined components Perform tooling changes, insert replacements, and offset adjustments as needed Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality and dimensional requirements Monitor machine performance and make necessary process adjustments Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Utilize measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CNC turning experience Strong machine setup and operation skills Ability to make tooling, insert, and offset adjustments Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings Knowledge of quality control procedures and precision measurement tools Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain production flow Familiarity with G-code programs and CNC machine controls Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or machining certifications are a plus Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Benefits Competitive hourly wages Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities Stable, long-term employment with a respected manufacturing partner
