Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Builder specializing in Robotic Automation to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, configuring, and maintaining complex robotic systems and industrial equipment to optimize automation processes. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly and installation processes. Assemble robotic systems and industrial equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install and troubleshoot electrical components including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and motors. Set up machining tools, CNC machines, and metalworking equipment to fabricate custom parts required for system assembly. Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring proper connection, calibration, and testing for optimal performance. Conduct mechanical assembly of components, verifying alignment using measurement tools for quality control. Interpret production documents and manufacturing instructions to ensure compliance with specifications. Test assembled systems for functionality, safety, and performance; troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic components. Collaborate with engineering teams during system upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency or incorporate new features. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards; document assembly procedures and technical modifications as required. Experience Proven experience in mechanical assembly within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading—including mechanical blueprints and schematics—and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality assurance. Practical understanding of metal machining techniques and welding processes used in industrial equipment fabrication. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions. Experience with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and machining setup procedures. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and maintenance.
