Ferco Tech is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our growing aerospace manufacturing team. We are looking for a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work and has a strong understanding of manual machining processes. Responsibilities Fabricate, modify, and repair parts, tooling, and machine components using knowledge of machining practices, mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and manufacturing procedures. Set up and operate manual horizontal lathes, mills, and other machining equipment. Determine the appropriate sequence of operations required to complete machined products. Perform manual machining operations including turning, reaming, boring, facing, threading, and related processes. Build product acceptance tooling, fixtures, and gauges. Read and interpret blueprints, job routers, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. Determine appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining methods. Inspect completed work to verify conformance to drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Troubleshoot machining challenges and make appropriate adjustments to achieve required specifications. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and productivity expectations. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Assist with training and knowledge-sharing with other team members as needed. Qualifications Previous Manual Machinist experience required . Experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes. Strong blueprint-reading and shop math skills. Ability to work accurately within required tolerances. Experience machining aerospace components and/or exotic materials preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn new processes and share knowledge with others. High School Diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel. Perform repetitive tasks associated with machining and manufacturing operations. Shift:

Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Overtime may be required based on business needs, including additional hours during the week and/or Fridays.
