SWA is hiring for an open ProtoTRAK Operator role in Franklin, OH!

Monday-Thursday - 6:00am-4:30pm overtime possible daily and

Fridays Consideration Qualifications:

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening! 2 years of ProtoTRAK experience is required Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery Must understand and read blueprints, schematics, and drawings Familiarity with SolidWorks or other design software is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Deep knowledge of working with exotic materials A combination of speed and accuracy is top priority Basic math and computer skills Manual Machinist experience a must Ability to multi-task Good work ethic Self-starter Willing to learn Good attendance

Daily Duties:

Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Set up and operate Proto Trak lathes and mills Determine tasks needed to complete machined products Perform machining operations such as turning, reaming, boring, facing, and threading parts Build product acceptance tooling and gauges Must be able to follow job routers and blueprints to determine machining requirements; including sequence of operations, required tooling, feeds, speeds, etc Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications

Physical Demands:

Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time on a daily basis Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc Able to successfully pass vision screens Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects. Perform repetitious duties, such as hammering a part to specification.
