Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision injection, blow and compression molds. Your expertise in machine operation, blueprint reading, computer literacy and some CNC programming will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently Duties Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper machine calibration and alignment for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing drawings accurately to produce parts according to specifications. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions and quality. Conduct machine troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and adjustments to optimize machining processes and minimize downtime. Inspect finished parts for conformance to quality standards through CNC quality inspection procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of setups, measurements, and process parameters for traceability and continuous improvement. Support assembly processes by ensuring machined components meet all mechanical blueprint requirements. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as lathes and milling machines in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code. Hands-on experience with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and micrometers for precision quality control. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, grinding equipment, power tools, and manual machining techniques. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine offsets. Knowledge of GD&T principles for interpreting complex blueprints accurately. Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly while maintaining safety standards during setup and operation.
