Job Description

Now hiring CNC Machinists for 2nd shift / 20% shift differential
Shift Hours:
Monday - Thursday / 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM Located in Lebanon, Ohio Position Summary The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machine tools to manufacture precision components to specified dimensions and tolerances while meeting established router hours and production requirements. This position supports our mission of being a forward-thinking, collaborative, and ethical organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and written or verbal specifications. Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machine tools to perform complex machining operations requiring tight tolerances, varied dimensions, contours, and surface finishes. Select, align, and secure workholding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials. Inspect cutting tools for sharpness, condition, and usability; replace tools as necessary. Calculate and set machine controls and programming parameters, including speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut. Monitor machine operation to identify malfunctions, tooling issues, or out-of-tolerance conditions and make adjustments as needed. Perform basic CNC programming and program edits. Maintain and edit CNC programs to optimize machining processes and improve performance. Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and finished parts to ensure equipment remains in optimal production condition. Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements. Required Skills and Abilities Ability to operate various machine tools and perform progressive machining operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining plans. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet production requirements. Demonstrated commitment to personal accountability, discipline, trust, and proactive action. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of vocational or technical training preferred. Demonstrated ability to set up, program, and operate CNC equipment, including:
CNC VTL CNC
horizontal mills CNC vertical mills CNC horizontal lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane. Working knowledge of machining equipment, machinery maintenance, and shop practices. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Loads exceeding 50 pounds require two-person handling or use of an approved lifting device. Ability to climb and work from ladders and operate lifting devices. Ability to move independently throughout the shop floor. Ability to work in confined spaces, including crawling in, on, or under equipment when required. Ability to work in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes, and other shop conditions. Must wear
