Responsibilities The Experienced CNC Mill/Lathe Set-up Machinist position is part of the Fabrication Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following): This role you will need to have the ability to set up the machine to produce components (tooling and work holding). Edit programs as necessary to work with the set up and tooling selection. Understanding of PTFE (Polytetraflouroethylene) to produce a smooth defect free surface. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to use all measurement devices (calipers, micrometers,etc). Safety focused Requirements CNC machine set-up (tooling and work holding) Blueprint reading and interpretation Tooling offsets and some editing Understanding use of calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, height stands and other precision measuring tools.
